Announcing UnitySync 2.0

Directory Wizards is pleased to announce the release of UnitySync 2.0 available on our new unified download page. This new version includes the following enhancements:

Linux

• This is the first Linux (x64) native version of UnitySync.
• No extra libraries are required.
• Includes all functions of the Windows version except for GroupWise API support.

User Interface

• The entire UI has been completely re-architected with a faster “Web 2.0” look and feel.
• The web server side now supports a RESTful interface to allow for future support of tablet and phone web browsers.
• New dialog to prompt for save if a change has been made to a connection.

Miscellaneous

• Better handling of escaped DN matching.
• Enhanced Object Class detection/matching for OpenLDAP objects.
• modrdn functionality has been reintroduced that allows for the renaming of a joined object’s RDN.
• Group discovery for ADAM/AD-LDS
• Better duplicate destination DN handling.
• ODBC stability enhancements.
• Orphan detection. UnitySync can now detect and report on “foreign objects” found in it’s destination OU.
