How does my licence key work?

Each UnitySync Install is assigned a unique Serial Number. Based on that SN, a matching key string must be entered to enable full use of your licensed UnitySync install. Obtain this key from Keys@dirwiz.com.

Where can I find my UnitySync Serial Number?

1. In order to find the Serial Number, you must first install UnitySync. (Install Instructions can be found in the Release Notes).

2. Once installed, go to the Unitysync landing page. You will find the UnitySync version number and the Unique Serial Number near the upper left of the page.

   UnitySync v4.5 (Serial: 2876888000)

Obtaining a new license key:

If this is a newly purchased install, a permanent license key will be generated for your Serial Number.

If this is an upgrade or a replacement install (a previous install of UnitySync has been decommissioned) a new license key will be generated for your Serial Number and remove the decommissioned SN. (So please identify the old SN in your key request).

In order to receive a permanent key for any install, you must have UnitySync installed where you plan to run it.

As of v4.0, there is a button to Request Key. Browse to the Sync Manager landing page. Click the Key Request button. This will open an email for you to send to keys@dirwiz.com. (If replacement or upgrade, be sure to include the SN of the install being replaced).

A new permanent license will be generated and delivered to you via email.

Alternatively, you can request a key by sending an email to keys@dirwiz.com. Please include your organization name as well as the Serial Number. (If replacement or upgrade, be sure to include the SN of the install being replaced).
